DevOps Engineer (80-100%)
Location: Hybrid (Office near Aarau and remote work)
About the Role: As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and ensuring the reliable operation of our new Kubernetes-based container platform. You'll collaborate closely with IT infrastructure teams to ensure the platform meets organizational needs and runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and optimize the Kubernetes container platform for scalability, reliability, and security
- Provide Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Automate processes for deployment, scaling, and maintenance of containers
- Monitor platform performance and ensure compliance with security standards
- Collaborate with development teams to support application deployment
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues
- Document configurations, processes, and implementations
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration (certifications are a plus)
- Experience with container platforms, automation, and configuration management (e.g. Ansible)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Ability to troubleshoot system issues and follow security best practices
- Solid understanding of Linux system administration
- Fluency in German
- EU citizenship or a B/C permit for Switzerland
